Can you picket a business?
Yes. No permit is required to picket, but it must be done in an orderly, non-disruptive fashion so that pedestrians can pass and entrances to buildings are not blocked. Pickets are not required to keep moving but may remain in one place as long as they leave room on the sidewalk for others to pass.
Can you take legal action against a garage?
If you get the car repaired at a new garage, you can try to claim compensation or go to court for the cost of carrying out extra repairs. You might be able to work with a trade association to get a result (if the garage is a member).
