Yes. You can dye your hair whatever color you want. Yes, there were a few cashiers who had different colored hair while I worked at Michaels. I had 3 different vibrant colors while working in the work place.

Can you work at Cracker Barrel with colored hair?
Hair must be of natural color and must be kept up and off of the shoulders (really long hair has to be tethered with more than one hair tie every few inches). No hair bows or other flashy hair things. Makeup must be conservative.

Yes you can have dyed hair. Yes. Target shows no bias toward hair, tattoos or piercings, as far as I witnessed. Yes, they allowed non natural hair color a couple of my co-workers had blue and pink in their hair.
Does Michaels have a uniform?
You can wear blue jeans and t-shirts, just nothing with vulgarities and obscenities, no leggings. You have to wear either a vest if you wear your own shirt, or a shirt which is provided for you. If we didn’t have a shirt then we could wear our regular shirts and wear a Michael’s vest.

You can wear pretty much any top you want as long as it’s not inappropriate. You can either wear the provided store vests, or buy your own Michaels branded shirts online to wear instead. As far as bottoms go, it’s easiest to just wear jeans, any color. No leggings, sweatpants, shorts, skirts, or dresses.

Depends on the job. But as a rule, Yes. I think that it should not determine your actual level of expertise, however, many people associate colored hair with a certain unprofessional archetype, so it is very easy for it to be seen as taboo.
